Annual Health Plans

Our annual health plans ensure that your horse receives the standard of maintenance and preventative care that he deserves, whilst spreading the costs evenly over the year for you. All our treatments are significantly cheaper within an annual plan than they would be piecemeal.

These prices include VAT and assume that the horse will be brought to one of our clinics. If a visit is required this will be carried out at a reduced rate at a mutually convenient time.

Below are some sample plans which can be tailored to fit each horse’s annual needs.

Annual plans can start at any time of year and must be paid by standing order. If you sell your horse part-way through the year plan, we will calculate the outstanding treatments and credit/debit your account accordingly.

Plan 1: Happy Hacker/Veteran

Aimed at the horse who hacks, occasionally attends riding club activiities, classes or shows and the elderly horse.

At a monthly cost of £11 paid by standing order. The plan includes:

• annual flu & tetanus vaccination
• annual dental examination and rasp
• worming programme – including the cost of annual worming plus regular worm-counts (you will be reminded to supply dung samples when they become due). You will only be charged for additional seasonal worming medicines if they are required. We believe that this is the cheapest, safest and most environmentally-friendly way to manage parasite control.

Plan 2: Riding Horse

Aimed at the horse who hunts and/or regularly attends riding club activities and some competitions.

• annual flu & tetanus vaccination
• annual dental examination and rasp

• full clinical examination – including heart, eyes, lungs and trot up
• blood test – haemotology, routine biochemistry

Plan 3: Competition Horse
