Celia Cohen

Celia Cohen, Msc vet phys, P/G dip. Bsc (hons), MCSP, ACPAT (A) is a chartered human and veterinary physiotherapist, working part time for the NHS and the rest of the time with horses. She grew up in a veterinary family with a strong horse backgound. Individual problems, whether an acute injury or a gradual decrease in performance, can be fully assessed and treated with an emphasis on the owner understanding and continuing the ongoing rehab and exercise programme. Celia works as a team with the vet, the owner, rider, farrier and trainer.

She has a proven background in successfully treating horses working in many spheres such as eventing, polo and dressage. A key to success is Celia's ability to work on both horse and rider – thoroughly understanding the combined physical dynamics.

A chartered physiotherapist can help:

• Acute and chronic injuries to reduce pain & facilitate healing
• Return to successful fitness and prevent re-injury
• Optimise performance and devise safe fitness regimes
• Assess and facilitate movement capabilities

Clients can book in for a session with Celia without referral – to assess or treat any equine, or for a horse & rider clinic.
